Club Statement Regarding 2020 Registrations
Updated 12th July 2020
We hope this message finds you well. Like most of you, we’ve all been desperately looking to find a safe way to return to football. With 5 months of our regular sporting calendar already gone, the league are proceeding with 50% normal team capacity and fixtures. This means that as a club 50% of our registered players would unlikely get game time.
To that end, the club feels the fairest option for us is to not enter any competitive leagues in 2020.
However, we also appreciate there are many other important aspects to playing football other than competitive matches including social interaction, physical and mental health.
What is happening regarding fees?
We totally accept that fees have been paid in good faith by you before COVID halted our season commencing. We are offering parents the following options.
A) Get a full refund on the fees you paid earlier this year. Note: Your child/children will not be allowed to train if you get a full refund
B) Train only and receive €25 One for All gift card per child registered by way of a rebate on the fees you paid.
To ensure we have adequate insurance coverage, facilities and coaching resources we need to know as before 5pm Wed 15th July your preference. If we do not hear from you within this time frame it will be assumed that your children are training only.
To select your preference please complete the quick fill forms via the links below.
You will be added to the assigned team groups on Clubforce and will be given updates by your coach as to when training sessions are starting. We are hopeful this will be before the start of August
Again your preference must be selected before 5pm Wed 15th July,
We will be in touch to make arrangements to issue your refund
Regardless of whatever option you feel works best for you we at the club want you to know that you are completely welcome back to the club in 2021.
We want you to feel comfortable in deciding what’s best for you and your family.
